Job description:


We are currently looking to recruit 1 permanent Operations & Prioritization Manager to join our Marketing & Sales team to support assigned business areas in all operational aspects of our Marketing & Sales tribes and functions.

The role is targeted to be cross-country and will support our CMO to ensuring a smooth and scalable setup. The focus of this role is to manage priorities, budgets and resources in an agile organization cross-country.


Allianz Direct's Marketing & Sales tribe is responsible for all activities regarding marketing and sales including New Business, Brand Management, Media Management, Marketing (online, offline and Social Media).

Additionally, we are in charge of and manage all activities around CRM, Data analytics, MarTech (Marketing Technology) as well as Partner Management.

Job Purpose/Role:


  • In this role you are strongly contributing to ensure smooth operations within the global Marketing & Sales Team in Allianz Direct
  • Supporting the annual Planning, Funneling, Prioritization and Quarterly Business Review Process end to end
  • Act as an interface to Finance, Marketeers, Product Owners, Operations, Technical Teams and within Allianz Direct
  • Setup and scale processes for efficient budget steering in close alignment with Finance function
  • Harmonize processes in an agile organization crosscountries regarding priorities, budget, and resource allocation
  • Manage Marketing & Sales cost center steering and budgeting processes
  • Own various reporting and initiative tracking and prioritization processes
  • Support in the preparation of Management decision documents
  • Execute adhoc crosscountry data requests including assessment of deliveries, derivation of measures

Key responsibilities:


  • Play a key role in preparing and supporting the annual and quarterly business review process for Marketing & Sales area
  • Consolidation and assessment of the operational Marketing & Sales priorities incl. Business Impact working in close alignment with countries and other internal stakeholders (e.g., Operations, Technical platform team etc.)
  • Build crosscountry solutions for multicountry topics incl. resolution of frictions between multiple stakeholders
  • Harmonization of crosscountry processes (preparation of QBR process, budget planning and
- reporting

  • Conduct Business Case modelling and feasibility calculations
  • Take ownership of various reporting processes to inform and update relevant key stakeholders
  • Contribute towards the annual planning processes of Allianz Group (SD and PD)
  • Setup and own efficient budget steering processes for Marketing & Sales
  • Responsible for budget and cost center planning for Marketing & Sales Global in close alignment with Finance functions
  • Business performance and results evaluation and reporting
  • Deal with adhoc queries and requests from across the business
  • Involvement in corporate projects & initiatives

Qualifications/Key skills:


  • University degree in business administration, IT or equivalent
  • Solid experience in setting up dedicated methodologies, processes and reportings allowing full steering of all relevant activities
  • A broad understanding of financial budgets/models, with experience of analyzing data effectively for planning, forecasting, and reporting purposes
  • Experience in business modelling (e.g., Business Cases, Use Cases and feasibility studies)
  • Proactive and independent working style with the ability to deliver highquality results also under time pressure
  • Team player with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient MS Office skills (esp. Excel) and fluent in English written and spoken
  • VBA a plus
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • German speaking a plus
