In the midst of our business expansion in the European Market, we are looking for a Payroll Specialist as a Parental Leave replacement (2 years).


Your journey ahead:


As part of a 3 person HR team, you will work closely with the finance team and our headquarter in China.


Your healthy routine:


You'll be responsible for ensuring payroll accounting, social benefits, pension schemes, and supplemental health insurance are accurate and on time every month working with our external payroll provider and participating in cross-functional projects in Public Operations department.


Your Challenges

  • Working within the people team, you will be responsible for the timely creation and systematic, highquality monitoring of monthly payslips for our more than 80 employees in Germany and abroad.
  • You coordinate the processes related to payroll accounting, social benefits, pension schemes and supplementary health insurance in cooperation with our external payroll providers.
  • Reconcile benefit in kind and monthly reconciliations of employee and employer contributions to thirdparty vendors.
  • You develop and optimize existing processes, taking into account countryspecific aspects and legal requirements for our locations in Germany, Great Britain, Spain, and Poland.
  • You are the contact person for accounting with regards to bonus, holiday accruals, etc.
  • You report the required data for various authorities, participate in audits and prepare standard and ad hoc reports.
  • You work independently on administrative personnel tasks (e.g. drawing up contracts, drawing up references and various certificates, etc.)
  • Advise our HR department on payrollrelated issues.
  • Control payroll data quality and implement improvement measures if necessary; support with audits.
  • Participate in crossfunctional projects in Public Operations Department, where your expertise is helpful and needed.

Your profile includes

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 13 years of experience in endtoend Payroll.
  • Previous experience in payroll in Germany is a must, and any other EU country is a plus.
  • Proficient in using software tools like Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problemsolving abilities.
  • High attention to detail to provide highquality information.
  • Working independently with little or no guidance.
  • Chinese and English language is a must. German is a plus.
  • Ability to express ideas and requests clearly.
  • Serviceoriented mindset.
