WHAT WE OFFER

As MES expert (M/F/d) you will be responsible for planning, developing and supporting Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) worldwide at Covestro.

By automating data flows and production processes, MES is an essential component in digitalization in operations. MES supports operations management in ensuring safety, efficiency and continuous optimization of operational processes.

As a global MES expert, you will take on the following tasks:

In your new position, you will provide the technological basis for the development of business cases of MES initiatives at different locations worldwide-
In addition, you work closely with the specialist departments in production, information technology (IT) and process control technology and ensure the exchange of experience with other MES experts
You will ensure that user requirements are translated into MES solutions according to the best implementation quality standard
You will coordinate contractors during consulting, design, build and testing of MES systems
Finally, you will have technical responsibility for all technical aspects in MES implementation, expansion and migration projects

WHAT YOU OFFER- For this position you have a degree with a focus on engineering, computer science or a comparable education- We require at least five years of professional experience in the MES environment, ideally you have knowledge in Wonderware MES, MSSQL,.

net- In addition, you have detailed knowledge in the working field of MES and are familiar with the current IT/OT technology- You have experience in managing (software) projects where consulting, design, build and/or similar services are provided by external vendors- You have strong communication and teamwork skills as well as a structured and analytical approach to work- You are willing to travel regionally and globally- Fluent written and spoken English and good German round off your profile
