Romaco is part of the Chinese Truking Group of companies, based in Changsha, Hunan Province.

We are looking for a committed strategic purchaser, being part of the Romaco purchasing team, but specialized and dedicated to Truking sourcing requirements in Europe.

Your tasks:

- you will be the key to unlocking a seamless and efficient supply from Europe for our parent company in China
- be the bridge that connects suppliers, Global Procurement Truking and Romaco category managers
- support Romaco Purchasing management in the search for new suppliers to expand our current supplier base and select new suppliers if the regular supplier cannot be used
- liase with your purchasing colleagues in Italy, Spain and Germany as well as in China
- manage the whole order handling and execution process, from generating orders, reminder lists as well as reports and maintaining master data in SAP
- monitor the delivery dates, reliability and if necessary you handle the dunning process.
- audit key suppliers

Your profile:

- successfully completed business or technical studies or education
- ideally 5+ years experience in purchasing
- proficiency in Mandarin (native level), advanced English and preferable German
- high affinity for numbers and technical understanding
- international travel
