Responsibilities:

In the role as Global Head of Inventory & Supply, you are responsible for:Inventory Management

  • Own, design and continuously improve the organization's Global Inventory Monitoring and Inventory Management practices for Raw Materials, Work in Progress and Finished Goods
  • Lead the definition of inventory parameters (safety stock and max stock) for all Finished Goods and Raw Materials
  • Own, design and continuously improve the inventory parameters definition process
  • Create transparency over inventory composition, bucketize inventory into excess, understock, stockout and healthy
  • Coordinate definition and creation of tools and dashboards to provide full transparency upon composition of actual and projected inventory
  • Maintain close collaboration with demand planning, master planning all other relevant teams to ensure strong connection between planning/execution processes and inventory management
  • Collaborate with all relevant stakeholders including the Global Head of SC Planning in continuously improving end2end value chain design, with specific focus on stockholding as decoupling pointsSupply Planning
  • Design and own the supply and capacity planning process globally
  • Own the templates which support the required process steps and continuously adapt the process to the evolving business needs
  • Maintain close collaboration with the Master Planning organization to ensure adoption of the designed processes
  • Train and coach the supply planning community to achieve the right skillset
  • Bring external best practices into the organization, act as thought leader in the domain of Supply Planning and foster a climate of continuous improvement across all units globally
  • Develop and deploy process and team's competencies assessment framework with the objective of buildingup process maturity and planning team's skillset
Your qualification

  • Master of Science ideally in Business, Economics or Engineering studies, or equivalent work experience
  • Several years of prior functional leadership experience in global, matrixed organizations
  • Change leadership experience across multiple cultures
  • Experience in designing and implementing inventory management and procurement planning processes, change management, stakeholder management
  • Ability to build inventory management processes in a complex environment with a low level of maturity
  • Experience around higher management
  • Willingness to travel 10% of the time
