What the job looks like
Each day you'll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:

  • Maintaining, developing and documenting of processes related to ICSRs according to the relevant regulatory or other requirements
  • Supporting the maintenance and further development of global standards for the business processes related to ICSRs in alignment with other Drug Safety functions
  • Managing of projects and initiatives related to these processes
  • Supporting in the oversight of vendor activities, processes and qualification of vendors involved in the collection, processing and reporting of safety information for Grünenthal
  • Quality control of Individual Case Safety Reports of any Grünenthal medicinal product(s)
  • Processing of Clinical Trial cases and other cases on demand
  • Supporting the training and continuous improvement of vendors contracted for case management services
  • Interacting with internal departments and external organisations on ICSR matters
  • Being responsible for various operational matters

What you'll bring to the table
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:

  • A scientific university degree in life sciences
  • Job experience in pharmacovigilance, ideally in ICSR processing
  • Very good knowledge of English (minimum B2 spoken and written)
  • Basic knowledge of German (minimum A2 spoken and written)
  • Operational Excellence mindset
  • Good presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • A willingness to learn and develop
  • Intercultural skills
