In order to support with investigations linked to latest stress analysis technologies, Airbus Operations Gmbh is looking for a

Bachelor Thesis within Application of SimSolid in Analysis of High Lift Structures (d/w/m):

Location: _Bremen _

Duration: _6 Months _

Your tasks and responsibilities:

Develop a High Lift structure design overview as well as a High Lift stress analysis overview
Prepare a E2E workflow for stress analysis of high lift structure in SimSolid
Demonstrate strengths and weakness in analysis through test results comparison to SimSolid and Classical FEM analysis.
Identify and propose areas for improvement in SimSolid functionalities and capabilities to better accommodate needs of High Lift Stress Analysis

Desired skills and qualifications:

Enrolled fulltime student in the area Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering of or an equivalent field of study
Interested in structural mechanics
Basic knowledge of Finite Element Analysis
Basic knowledge of Hyperworks and Nastran would be very helpful
Knowledge of python/TCL/c++ programming
