In order to support with investigations linked to latest stress analysis technologies, Airbus Operations Gmbh is looking for a


Bachelor Thesis within Application of SimSolid in Analysis of High Lift Structures (d/w/m):


  • Location: _Bremen _

  • Duration: _6 Months _

Your tasks and responsibilities:


  • Develop a High Lift structure design overview as well as a High Lift stress analysis overview
  • Prepare a E2E workflow for stress analysis of high lift structure in SimSolid
  • Demonstrate strengths and weakness in analysis through test results comparison to SimSolid and Classical FEM analysis.
  • Identify and propose areas for improvement in SimSolid functionalities and capabilities to better accommodate needs of High Lift Stress Analysis

Desired skills and qualifications:


  • Enrolled fulltime student in the area Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering of or an equivalent field of study
  • Interested in structural mechanics
  • Basic knowledge of Finite Element Analysis
  • Basic knowledge of Hyperworks and Nastran would be very helpful
  • Knowledge of python/TCL/c++ programming
