We are looking for a knowledgeable professional to ensure compliance with export control regulations and facilitate the smooth and secure transfer of digital products to international markets.

  • This job will be based in our Siemens headquarter office in Munich.

What part will you play?

  • You stay informed about changes in export control laws, regulations, and industry best practices to proactively adapt compliance procedures and policies accordingly
  • Translate regulatory requirements in the area of export control and sanctions into internal guidance, policies and processes
  • Assess and determine export control requirements, design and develop export control processes and solutions for digital platforms & digital exports
  • Design and develop export control processes and solutions for ERP systems (e.g., SAP S4, Sales Force, inhouse platforms)
  • Offer expert advice and support to internal teams worldwide regarding export control matters
  • Design and conduct training on export control topics
  • Perform automated assessments of export control processes to identify areas of improvement, monitor effectiveness and mitigate potential risks. Leverage data analytics solutions to achieve high level of assurance

What you need to make real what matters.

  • Master's degree (or comparable diploma) in business IT, digital business management, ecommerce management, data analytics for business, digital entrepreneurship, or similar area.
  • Many years of relevant work experience with digital services or software business, or with digital transformation projects, in audit or process consulting
  • You bring a familiarity with regulatory topics (e.g., trade compliance, sanctions, customs, data privacy, EHS)
  • A proven track of project management skills & experience, ideally you have lead projects
  • You are used to work autonomously; you are a selfdriven personality and have a proactive working style
  • You have high ethical standards and bring them to your job
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams as well as strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Your digital knowledge and skills include data analysis, IT business models, IT processes (professional certification, e.g., ITIL, will be considered an advantage), ERP systems (esp. SAP and Sales Force) as well as tool expertise in MS Excel (pivot tables, analytics, graphs etc.), dashboarding, reporting and analytics tools (e.g., PowerBI, QlikView, QlikSense, Tableau)
  • Your experience with export control & sanctions compliance or AI & machine learning would be of an advantage
  • Your language skills in English are business fluent, German skills are a plus
