As a fast growing international chemical distributor, OQEMA is currently seeking a Group Sales & Purchasing Coordinator to expand our business unit "Inorganics".

As Group Sales & Purchasing Coordinator, you actively participate in international Sales and Purchasing projects and you collaborate with different stakeholders and departments.

Working from our Belgian office in Ranst (Broechem) and willing to travel occasionally, we are looking from February 2023 on for your support as

Group Sales & Purchasing Coordinator (M/F/d) - Chemical Industry**

Your impact within the OQEMA Group

Support of and close collaboration with our Segment Director Inorganic Chemicals
Implementation of international business projects
Data and market analysis through research, e.g. for specific inorganic chemicals
Communication with managers and stakeholders within OQEMA as well as external partners like suppliers
Maintain and promote the different digital business platforms, e.g. SharePoint / Salesforce
Administrative tasks like updating presentations, creating surveys and organising meetings

We are looking for

Commercial chemical background and Bachelor's or similar degree
Work experience in Sales, Purchasing or Customer Service within the chemical industry would be a plus
Strong communication skills on different hierarchie levels
You are openminded, outgoing and you like to think outside the box
You can handle many tasks at the same time, you like organising and working with KPI's
Fluent spoken and written Dutch & English, additional languages would be a plus
You are willing to travel occasionally throughout Europe
Profound knowledge of MS Office (most of all MS SharePoint, Excel and PowerPoint), SAP and/or CRM/SalesForce would be a plus
