Within the Center Production Planning & Technology Powertrain, we manage battery projects of our Mercedes-Benz brand and offer an internship in the team Production Project Management & Module Strategy.

We ensure efficient project management by controlling input factors, quality and deadlines, monitor the achievement of our project goals, identify needs for action and initiate processes to find solutions.

These are some of the challenges you will face:

Collaboration within the project management and module teamwork of a battery project
Support in managing and coordinating crossfunctional topics of the planning areas and production (assembly, logistics, quality, startup factory, factory planning, etc.)
Involvement in reporting as well as preparation and followup of project committees, meetings as well as workshops with the involved departments
Preparation of decision documents for project management, module teams and senior management
Monitoring of the optimization process and documentation of technical processes for production systems as well as further development of the crossproject knowledge base
Identification of fields of action for the further development of the project work
Full & independent processing of work packages and / or test orders from the battery project

Qualifications

Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable course of study
First experiences in project management from nonuniversity activities, association or leisure time are desirable
Confident handling of MS-Office, especially PowerPoint
Confident knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
Structured & independent way of working
Team & communication skills
Commitment & enthusiasm for innovative topics

Please note that your internship at this location must have a prescribed mandatory component.
