Outokumpu is looking for a
Head of Sales QP to lead a team of highly skilled and experienced persons and develop individuals and to derive and execute sales strategy of the industry Segment in EMEA & Americas.


As a Head of Sales QP, you will track and manage performance and take necessary actions to meet sales plan, as well as meet and negotiate key accounts, win opportunities and make decisions to support BL growth.


Your role

  • Drive strategy process of the sales industry segment. Participate in the definition of the global BL strategy
  • Adapting the group's mission and vision and supervise its execution
  • Set meaningful targets which are in line with group's KPI and strategy. Steer to meet growth ambitions and improve vertical contribution margin
  • Analyze the overall profitability of the segment, identify areas for improvement, optimize financial results and implement corrective actions
  • Introduce, drive, and ensure systematic sales processes, transparency in customer intelligence and sales performance measurement
  • Responsible for customer, pricing, and commercial support to customers in EMEA & Americas
  • Derive and execute longterm product, customer, and regional strategy
  • Identify and analyze new market opportunities, competitive landscape, development accounts and create high level sales plans for the sales industry segment. Identify new business models and value creation opportunities
  • Strengthen and develop the industry segment team in commercial and technical matters

About you

  • University Degree, preferably in business administration, economics, or engineering
  • At least a several years of professional experience in sales or processing industry
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong skills in management and leadership as well as skills in commercial and technical areas
  • Confident at making decisions; high level of initiative and assertiveness; high willingness to learn; strong analytical skills; high level of selfmotivation and confident manner
  • Willingness to travel and crosscultural skills
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken

You will be located in one of Outokumpu European locations and report to VP - Sales QP, PSCs, Prefab & Pressplate, Juha Sipola.
