Team mission:

Our mission is to support GetYourGuide leaders in building engaged, healthy, and high performing teams.

As People Partners, we are the bridge between the different functions of GetYourGuide business units and the People Team, and work with people managers to provide strategic advice and coaching to achieve team and company success.


In this role, you will join a team of experienced business partners, and advise the the middle management of our business functions such as Sales, Customer Care, Supply and Content.

Our business teams are located in multiple locations in Europe, APAC and Americas.

Reporting to the Head of People Partner Business, you will work with the leadership team in your client groups to ensure high performance, engagement and retention in their teams.

At the same time, you will contribute to long-term, strategic projects, in collaboration with your People Partner colleagues and senior leadership of the business.


You will:


  • Give Strategic Advice: Coaching and advising our midlevel managers in strategic decision making, organizational design, and other employment and leadership topics. Giving guidance on HR guidelines and finding customized solutions where necessary

  • Handle Case management: Supporting managers in any cases in their team related to performance, behaviour or engagement
  • Handle Conflict Management: mediating, legal advice and conducting investigations
  • Connect the dots: serving as central point for different People Team areas (Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, HR Operations, Compensation & Benefits)
  • Work on

Project Management:
Contributing to global People Partner projects on compensation, engagement or other topics of strategic importance

  • Use Data Analysis: Using insights from engagement or attrition data to create action plans for teams

Who you are:


  • You have several years of experience partnering business stakeholders on important HR matters, with proven expertise in performance management and leadership development
  • You are experienced and comfortable in leading and initiating difficult conversations, and finding suitable business solutions while being empathetic
  • You are able to thrive in a highly ambiguous environment, where focus and priorities can change quickly
  • You have a great understanding of the business environment, and always find the best solution to meet your stakeholders' needs and achieve business objectives while aligning your approach with the global HR philosophy and company culture
  • Experience with German or Swiss client groups is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
