Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as technical consultant in a particular field of expertise
- Participate in the commercialization of new products
- Supervise other chemists
- Analyze, synthesize, purify, modify and characterize chemical or biochemical compounds
- Conduct research into the synthesis and properties of chemical compounds and the mechanisms of chemical reactions
- Develop and conduct programs of analysis to ensure quality control of raw materials, chemical intermediates or final products
- Participate in interdisciplinary research and development projects
Knowledge and Qualifications:
- Master's degree or Ph. D. in chemistry, ideally in organic synthesis
- Knowledge and experience in synthetic organic chemistry
- Experience working on chemical, active pharmaceutical ingredient (API), and/or nanomaterial process scale up, and leading process or product development projects
- Good communication skills
- People leadership experience is strongly desired
Salary: 1,800.00€ - 5,000.00€ per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Büren: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
