    Role Overview

    You are about to embark on an exciting journey as the manager of the Elektro-, Mess-, Steuerungs- und Regelungstechnik (EMSR) team at a renowned company. With a team of 13 professionals under your guidance, your role will involve leveraging technical expertise to optimize resource allocation within the plant.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead a diverse EMSR team and foster seamless collaboration with other departments.
    • Efficiently manage production assets, overseeing contractors and personnel to meet service objectives.
    • Provide maintenance services to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations in production and logistics.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that account for operational, environmental, and commercial considerations.
    • Facilitate knowledge transfer, team growth, and establish connections with other facilities and communities.
    • Ensure compliance with regulations and the dependable functioning of electrical installations as a Verantwortliche Elektrofachkraft (VEFK) in accordance with German legislation.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Lead the EMSR team, overseeing a team of 2-shift EMSR staff, 3-shift electricians (managed by 2 foremen), and planning functions.
    • Act as a VEFK in compliance with VDE standards.
    • Manage team development and ensure adherence to norms and standards.
    • Serve as the focal point for EMSR matters, driving improvement endeavors and upholding regulatory standards.
    • Analyze maintenance data and KPIs, focusing on HSSE, Quality, Maintenance Schedule Adherence, and cost management.
    • Support asset management and represent EMSR in both internal and external audits.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
    • Relevant apprenticeship in electrical or measuring and control engineering, coupled with continuous development and a proven track record in leadership.
    • Previous experience in EMSR work is advantageous.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and digital tools, with SAP knowledge considered a bonus.
    • Strong problem-solving skills, with a knack for quick and effective decision-making.
    • Fluency in German and English, with a strong emphasis on German proficiency.
    • A collaborative team player with authenticity.
