While the whole world of air, hotels, or car rental is normalized, rail, bus, ferries, airport transfer, all forms of ground transport are fragmented on a local level.

Omio is the largest source of inventory with 1000+ suppliers operating in 35 countries in Europe and North America.

Along with their two brands, Rome2Rio used for global discovery, and Omio used for ticketing and journeys, they attract 600m+ users on a yearly basis while continuing to launch new geographies, new verticals, and new products as they scale.

It's a team based in Berlin, with offices in Prague, London, Beijing, Melbourne, and NY.

As the PMO Lead, you will play a crucial role in driving and leading high-priority cross-departmental projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints.

You will collaborate closely with various teams, utilizing your strong leadership and project management skills to enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and achieve strategic business objectives.

Project Leadership:Lead and manage high-priority projects across different departments within the technology organization.

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement project management strategies aligned with organizational goals, ensuring successful project outcomes.

Team Collaboration:Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing leadership and support to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.

Resource Management:Optimize resource allocation and utilization to maximize project efficiency and meet delivery timelines.

Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring proactive measures are in place to address potential challenges.

Quality Assurance:Implement and enforce project management best practices to maintain high-quality project deliverables.

Stakeholder Engagement:Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, keeping them informed on project progress and managing expectations.

Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators to measure project success and identify areas for improvement.

Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO, focusing on enhancing project management processes and methodologies.

Reporting:Generate and present regular status reports to senior management, highlighting project milestones, risks, and accomplishments.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Proven experience in project management, particularly in leading highpriority crossdepartmental projects within the technology industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams toward successful project completion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration among diverse teams.
  • Proficient in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Strategic thinking and problemsolving abilities.
  • Resultsoriented with a focus on delivering projects within established timelines and budgets.
  • Fluent in Data/Excel/ Google Suite
  • English fluency required
