You will make an impact in the following way:

You translate the knowledge gained in product development into clearly structured information units that are valuable, comprehensible and understandable for the respective target groups
Develop productrelevant information units (text and commercial graphics) for new software features
Write in English (Simplified Technical English) for different target groups, taking into account the rules for translationfriendly writing
Commission the computerassisted translation of the developed information units into German
Help with the continuous improvement of editorial processes in an agile environment and collaboration with other departments
Translation management and maintenance of translation memories as well as evaluation of terminology tools
Conceptual support in the area of usability UI/UX

What you will bring:

Education
Completed degree in translation science, communication and media management, information technology or a comparable degree.

Professional experience

Exposure to Simplified Technical English, XML, DITA, various graphic formats, Desktop publishing programs, Office programs, Translation and Content Management Systems

Personality

Curiosity and a natural inclination to understand technical solutions, ability to quickly process technical information, effective communication skills tailored to different target groups.

Language proficiency

Fluency in English and German (written and spoken)
