Beschreibung

The working group for thin-film processes at the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology (ILT) is looking for a committed and motivated student assistant (M/F/d) to work on industrial and research projects in the field of printed electronics as soon as possible.

This highly interesting and current technological field includes

  • Thin film processes (printed electronic circuits)
  • Material analytics
  • Micro
- and nanostructuring (LIFT-off process and material transfer)

  • Laser posttreatment
  • Coating of various technical components

What you will do

  • Planning and carrying out experimental investigations
  • Collaboration in the optimisation and development of test procedures, processes and protocols
  • Documentation, data analysis and literature research
  • Support in our laboratory work

What you bring to the table

  • You are studying materials engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics or a comparable degree programme
  • Reliability, ability to work in a team as well as an independent and structured way of working
  • Previous knowledge of CNC machines, laser technology, printed electronics, micro
- and nanotechnology is advantageous, but not essential

  • Initial experience in the laboratory and with lasers desirable

The weekly working hours are 17 h per week as agreed.
