Your Role:

The purpose of this role is to ensure on-time and in-full purchasing of materials to meet the dependent demands.

You will handle the purchasing process from order placement until goods receipt and serve as the main communication point between supplier and the company regarding orders.

General responsibilities include:
Placing orders based on purchase requisitions, dependent demands, and defined order patterns.

Additionally, you are maintaining spreadsheets of open POs and ensuring the accuracy and availability of order acknowledgements, deliveries, and invoices.

In critical situations, you are alerting Sourcing, Supply Planning and Detail Production Scheduling about vendor delays and updating SAP ETAs or supporting the Supply Planners with urgent inquiries and expedite requirements.

Important for us is that you work closely with the Supply Planner & Detail Production Scheduler, who asks to prioritize deliveries and generating the purchasing requisition into the system.

In case of out-of-spec materials, you are initiating the return process by obtaining vendor return authorization and credit note. You are working with production, for special items or logístical requests. Partner with sourcing and external supplier by providing performance feedback or regular exchange.

Who You are:

Industrial clerk or trainee with good experience as purchasing specialist.
Aptitude for problem solving and troubleshooting with excellent attention to detail and goal.
Knowledge of reporting and data mining.
Basic knowledge with SAP PI/MM & Aera and advanced knowledge with MS Office.
Basic understanding of the SAP P2P purchasing process.
Good communication skills to interface between internal stakeholders and suppliers in English & German, both written and verbal
