L4B offers an undisputed "full stack" embedded-system solution that ensures end-to-end support for Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and embedded-OS maintenance phases.

Additionally, the company provides extensive engineering services and support for Embedded Systems based on Embedded Linux, Android/AOSP, QNX, bare-Metal, and RTOS, such as:

• Design & optimizations of lowlevel software such as boot loaders and Board Support Packages (BSPs)
• Development and customization of OS kernels
• SW-Customizations for standard hardware/microcontroller abstract layers (HAL/MCAL) for various HW platforms
• Integrations of SDK, libraries, and development of HMI and UI/UX Applications
• Maintenance and Long Term Support (LTS) with Secure Firmware Over The Air (sFOTA) for software migrations, mobile device management, and remote management/diagnostics.

Responsibilities:

• Get a taste of DevOps (testing, lab, SIL, writing tests, test automation).
• Possibility to learn more about Android OS and Embedded Linux (programming of shell scripts).
• Programming in C++ and/ or C under Linux.
• Supporting software testers in fixing bugs.
• Support in the software laboratory: flashing devices, updating software, integrating new end devices.
• Manage hardware for the Munich office and install software (Windows, Linux) with support from our IT team.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled for a degree in
  DevOps, Software Engineering, Informatics Engineering or Electronics Engineering in Munich

:

• Must have previous industrial experience Ideally with
  Linux/
  AOSP/
  BareMetal/
  QNX.
• Excellent knowledge of the
  Linux operating system,
  C++,
  Python, and
  Shell programming. Ideally knowledge in dealing with virtualization as well as
  CI/CD with
  GitLab,
  Docker and Nice to have some experience with AI/ML.
• Industrial, practical experience in the
  DevOps and/or
  Software Engineering.
• Proficiency in
  English (other European languages are welcome, German, French, Spanish, ).
• Proactive and problemsolving culture.
• Strong analytical mindset.
• Ownership and open mindset.

Working Students at L4B:

• Work a maximum of 20 hours per week during the semester and up to 40 hours per week fulltime during the semester break.
• Receive your own hardware and are fully integrated into the team (including events).
