THE ROLE & THE TEAM:

We are looking for a strong Editorial Stylist (all genders) at Zalando Studios in the Statement Creative team.

You will be working on creating and executing stories and taking part in a transformational shift in how we release, elevate, and provide context around our most exciting brands and assortment to our Zalando audiences.

The ultimate aim is to develop a deeper emotional bond with our customers and brand partners through inspirational storytelling and authentic content.

This highly collaborative role requires editorial/campaign oriented styling experience - either in-house at a fashion/culture magazine, an agency or on a freelance basis.

We are looking for a strategic and creative thinker who can create engaging visual style direction and execute them. one who can help customers understand the context behind trends and the latest in culture.

You will be responsible for finding innovative ways to execute outstanding imagery working closely with art directors, staff writers & editors based on strategy.

You use your outstanding skills to find best-in-class ways to execute on briefs from our supply team in collaboration with art directors, staff writers & editors based on strategy
Help put new and exciting brand collaborations, cultural trends and moments, as well as hyped products and exclusives in context visually, in line with story outlines from editors and strategy.
Help Zalando to speak more inspirationally to customers and bring our ambitious strategic consumer and brand positioning objectives to life.
Challenge and support our team in the early phases of ideation and be a champion of new cultural impulses.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

Interest in creating content that puts people & the planet first.
You have a good eye for style and have a deep understanding of current and upcoming trends.
You are upbeat and fashion savvy.
You are confident, straightforward & direct.
You know how to give and receive feedback and act on it promptly.

WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF:

You have a degree in fashion or similar, and/or you have experience in styling. Ideally you have 2+ years of experience in-house, in an agency or in a relevant creative field as a freelancer.
Strong interest in fashion, communication, campaign strategy and social media. You are an innovator and have a solid futureforward outlook.
A natural doer Your work showcases your quick thinking and proactive attitude, managing your workload to tight deadlines and with flexible planning in a calm way. For this, we would love to see your portfolio of work.
Enjoy working in a fastchanging, international environment. You are a dedicated team player, open, positive, flexible and professional.
