Responsibilities:
- We are seeking a proactive and detailoriented individual to join our team as an Employee (M/F/d) EMEA Business Insurance Management. In this role, you will provide essential support in managing our company's insurance programs.
Your tasks include:
- You collaborate directly with our EMEA Business Insurance Manager and cooperate closely with an insurance broker as well as internal stakeholders
- You assist in insurance policy renewal negotiations and prepare summaries and presentations of insurance renewal options for management approval
- In collaboration with senior colleagues and/or the insurance broker, you consult internal departments on insurance matters
- You assist in the coordination of insurance claims, liaise with the insurance broker and ensure claims are processed in a timely and accurate manner
- You are responsible for cost allocation, cost control and reporting as well as handling claims in cooperation with our internal departments and European subsidiaries
- You keep the information on the intranet up to date
- You participate in European and/or global insurance projects
- As a member of our Strategic Procurement team, you identify improvement opportunities and manage their implementation
- You have successfully completed a commercial and/or insurance training
- Previous experience or knowledge in insurance management is a plus
- You have very good communication skills and command of German and English both written and spoken
- You are proficient in MS Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word); SAP knowledge is an advantage
- You have strong organizational skills and are able to set priorities
- Your strengths include attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- You are able to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- A proactive work approach, the ability to take initiative and to learn quickly complete your profile
- The position is parttime (30 hours per week) and limited to 12 months.
