For our office in Munich (in a hybrid working model) we are recruiting for a


Trainee, Corporate Communications (f/m/d)


The Trainee, Corporate Communications is an 18-month program mainly within the Corporate Communications department but with possibilities to gain insights and to participate into specified projects within the business units (product communication, marketing etc.) or the international communications team.

In coordination with an assigned mentor, the trainee (f/m/d) is accountable for supporting projects and assisting in daily business of the teams as well as taking over specific projects as owner in close alignment with the manager or with the accountable person outside the Corporate Communications Team.


Corporate Communications and Social Media

  • Support Corporate Communications: Creation of content, support writing texts/press releases etc., align content internally and with agencies
  • Research and screening for defined topics
  • Interact with agencies to support alignment and coordinated rollout of communications plan (align with crossfunctional teams on content, timings etc., set reminders)
  • Social Media and Digital: Support and partially take the coordinative lead for defined websites such as ; Support and coordinate Social Media Activities (editorial schedule), support content creation for Social Media Posts and alignment with team and other departments

Public Policy and Government Affairs (PPGA)

  • Support defined PPGA activities, e.g. monthly PPGA Newsletter
  • Screening of legal documents and monitoring of political issues in close alignment with PPGA responsible person

Internal Communication

  • Establish liaison with internal stakeholders to proactively identify key themes for internal communications and support internal communications plan in close alignment with Comms team
  • Support rollout of internal communications content and concepts that inspire, involve, and engage employees and is in line with strategic company goals
  • Support and partially take over responsibility for targeted platforms for communication & exchange amongst internal stakeholders (e.g. Biogen SharePoint)
  • Coordinate and support internal events e.g. townhalls, regular employee meetings etc.

General

  • Administrational support and Self-Management: Support Communication Team with administrational tasks (systems, agency interactions, meeting preparation, budget tracking etc) interact with relevant integrative processes/IT systems to comply with (e.g., ESE, VaultInSc2ite, VEEVA Vault)
  • Report to permanent mentor on a regular basis

Qualifications Requirements**- Master's degree (communications, health economics, business or life/social science background)

  • Experience in pharma industry advantageous (e.g. internships)
  • Good sense of responsibility and accountability
  • Agile and handson way of work
  • High affinity to digital
- and omnichannel approaches and tools

  • Fluent in German and English
  • Very high motivation to learn and develop
