As a member of interdisciplinary project teams, you will take on a key role in customer projects from RFQ to design to the start of series production.

As a generalist, you will act at the interface between sales, development, suppliers and plants and make a significant contribution to winning projects and bringing forward-looking solutions - especially in the field of battery housings - "on the road".

Your tasks

In "your" projects, you are responsible for the procurement of components and external services and contribute significantly to the product and process development of assemblies.
Through professional cost evaluation management, you will create the basis for acquisition success together with Cost Engineering in the RFQ phase.
Scouting and onboarding new suppliers for innovative technologies is a decisive success factor of your work and enables the development of a sustainable supplier pool.
You attract the right suppliers for each project and ensure that our requirements are met by working with process and technology owners at the suppliers.
Firstclass quality with maximum cost efficiency and adherence to delivery dates is your motto. You analyze and challenge cost breakdowns and challenge your suppliers in early project phases to develop processes that optimally meet our requirements.
Leading negotiations in close cooperation with the category purchasing department is also part of your tasks.
You always keep track of all projectrelevant activities, milestones and deadlines. Our innovative project tracking and reporting system supports you in this.
The continuous optimization of internal procurement processes and tools is an important aspect of your work.

Your profile

Ideally, you have a degree in industrial engineering or in economics (with a strong technical understanding) or in engineering (complemented by sound business experience).
You have several years of experience in (project) purchasing, procurement and project management in the automotive environment.
You are familiar with manufacturing processes and quality systems such as ISO/TS16949 as well as cost engineering.
Knowledge in the area of structural components (e.g. extrusion, stamping) is an advantage, but not mandatory.
You think in a processoriented manner and grasp complex issues quickly in order to concentrate on the essentials.
Professional handling of Excel, PowerPoint and other relevant tools is a matter of course for you.
You communicate clearly and convincingly, have a businessfluent command of English and German and excel in constructive cooperation, regardless of hierarchies, locations and areas.
You are a "selfstarter" with assertiveness and determination.
