At Evotec's headquarters in Hamburg, Germany, the Global Controlling and FP&A Team is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated- Senior Equity and R&D Controller (all genders)- Full time and permanentYour key responsibilities:

Finance Business Partner for our CSO and Evotec's Global Research & Development (R&D) activities, based in any Evotec location and preferably in HQ Hamburg
Managing financial aspects of Research & Development projects
Monitoring and tracking of R&D expenses
Provide meaningful monthly analysis and reports
Coordination and support of R&D budget and forecast
Ensure financial compliance within the R&D department. Support internal controls and month-end closing reviews (SOX)
Enhance quality of Controlling-reports, processes and systems
Collaborate with cross-functionals teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision making of R&D initiatives.
Support specific finance and controlling projects and ad-hoc requests
Support the Controlling of our minority shareholdings and at equity investments
Prepare monthly and quarterly presentations of the Equity portfolio for management
Reconciliation of Cost Accounting with Group Accounting
Answer requests from internal and external auditors
Support quarter-end and year-end closing

Your required qualifications:

Bachelor or Master's degree or equivalent education in finance, accounting or a related field 5+ years working experience in Controlling, Consulting or Investment Banking
Strong analytical, organizational and coordination skills
Profound knowledge of finance, budgeting and cost control principles
Basic knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS)
Fluent communication and presentation skills in English
High level of initiative and ability to work under pressure to meet reporting deadlines

Further ideal qualifications:

Experience with SAP, Cognos TM1, Cognos Analytics and Tableau
German language preferred
