We're looking for outstanding people who are energetic, determined and super smart to join our Sales team as a Business Development Associate.

This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly-growing, profitable and self-funded start-up, learn valuable business development skills, and make an impact.

In Berlin particularly, it is an exciting time as our Berlin office is rapidly growing, which means there are opportunities for fast-tracked progression and responsibilities early on within the team.


In your role, you'll work closely with the rest of the Sales team to seek out new business opportunities and start meaningful conversations with potential clients in Germany and the wider DACH region.

The era of mindless cold calling is over. You'll need to leverage smart strategies and channels to deliver high-impact results.


Your responsibilities:


  • During your first year at UpSlide you will:_
  • Familiarise yourself with the company's vision and core tenants, (excellence, trust, and happiness at work.)
  • Conduct market research and identifying potential clients.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with new clients, while maintaining existing client relationships.
  • Show the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
  • Identify new business opportunities and partners.
  • Provide support to the sales team on all aspects of the sales process.
  • Research companies, sectors, and markets to optimise our approach
  • Work closely with the senior business development team to strategise on key accounts
  • Identify and target future key clients and contacts
  • Secure initial meetings with senior executives and create new business opportunities
  • Look for opportunities to innovate and optimise lead generation

You are a great fit if you have:

  • Minimum 2:1 or equivalent degree
  • Entrepreneurial, determined and goaldriven team player
  • Intelligent, analytical and curious
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (min. C2 German and C1 English)
  • Eligible to work in Germany

We'd love it if:


  • Experience in sales, business development, partnerships, or marketing
  • Familiarity with financial and professional services
