School Vision / Ethos:
This is a private, non-selective, co-educational, non-faith day school located in the Upper Bavaria Region of Germany.

The school was founded in 2013 to serve the educational needs of international families living in the Munich area within a purpose built facility.


It is part of a group of three international schools spread across Germany which share a strong common ethos and structure.

They strive for excellence in everything they undertake and place heavy emphasis on creating a positive, enjoyable and child-centred learning experience.

The school follows the British curriculum through to IGCSE and offers the IB Diploma programme in the senior school.

Regional Overview:
Germany is a diverse and fascinating country lying at the heart of Europe.

Munich is the Capital of the Bavarian region of Germany - famous for its historical buildings, numerous museums, and who could forget the tourists (and locals) favourite, Oktoberfest Munich has so much to offer to the modern expat - it is easy to see why it is one of the top cities to live and work in Europe.


Requirements:

Applicants must be qualified teachers holding degree level certification and QTS or equivalent. Teachers will preferably have two years' experience and should be willing to involve themselves into the school community.

The schools accept all nationalities.

As British International Schools, the majority of their teachers have had experience working in the UK, or in UK-curriculum schools internationally.


Familiarity with the National Curriculum is seen as a considerable advantage, as is an understanding of the demands associated with private education.


Package:

  • Competitive salary from €45,000 €62,000 depending on experience.
  • A relocation allowance of €1,500 is available where applicable and can be utilised for flights, shipping etc.
  • Support will be given to find own accommodation and through the initial relocation process.
  • Medical care is covered under the governmental scheme.
