Your Tasks:

Promote of best practices in software development and reduce redundancies and inefficiencies in software development
Increase the forecasting capability (time, budget, effort) of the resident teams
Establish baseline for omnichannel platform to significantly increase usage, stability and availability of omnichannel test environments
Centralize coordination of development operations and underlying resources (e.g. environments, pipelines, tools). Shorten of software QA phases

People Management

Hold the functional responsibility (focus on skills) for employees in the same role within the domain
Do regular 1:1s and feedback talks with direct reports
Initiate personnel actions, especially skill development, individual training measures, training on the job, etc.
Foster the continuous development of competency skills across domains
Manage cross functional meetings and other formats
Ensure consistency of knowledge and creating a culture of excellence and continuous learning
Report to the Vice President OCSE

Your Profile:

Degree in (business) informatics or comparable qualification
Experience in building and managing a passionate and highperforming team
Expert knowledge in release management and holistic steering of delivery of multiple teams contributing to a single platform/product
Ability to navigate as technical product owner (M/F/d) and to mutually set KPIs around FinOps, Code quality and Cycle Times within supported teams
Familiar with common DevOps technologies (K8s, Terraform, Github, Opsgenie, etc.) and programming languages
Knowledge of compliance and security frameworks is a plus
Agile way of working and a basic understanding of SCRUM
Strong presentation and evangelism skills
Independent working style, ability to work in a team, organizational skills as well as initiative, willingness to learn, and customer orientation
Able to communicate to Top Management as well as to Engineers
Fluent in English, German would be a plus
