You will be leading all engineering initiatives and strategic decisions, of an ambitious and well-funded tech startup**- Technology, Strategy and Execution:
  • Develop and execute the overall technology strategy, roadmap, and architecture of our SaaS product
  • Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and prioritize engineering projects
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of highquality software solutions, adhering to project timelines and budget constraints
  • Oversee the implementation of best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes to maintain a robust and scalable software infrastructure
  • Make strategic decisions on "make or buy" of new technologies and features
  • Leadership and Team Management:
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the engineering team, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and vision
  • Manage and mentor a diverse team of software engineers, ensuring their professional growth and development
  • Promote a positive work environment that values diversity, inclusivity, and open communication
  • Work closely with the leadership team to align engineering efforts with overall business objectives and drive company growth
  • Tech stack (not everything is necassary)
- aws. CQRS. kotlin. java. typescript languages. sql databases. jpa/hibernate. frameworks e.g. quarkus, springboot, micronaut. search engines. message queues. gradle. gitlab. iac tools. docker. distributed system.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience (6+ years) in a leadership role within a tech startup or similar fastpaced environment
  • Strong technical background in software engineering or related fields
  • Deep understanding of SaaS product development processes, best practices, and modern software architectures
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in English
  • Strong strategic thinking and problemsolving abilities, with the ability to balance shortterm goals and longterm vision
  • Proven track record of delivering complex software projects on time and within budget
  • Ability to thrive in a remote and international work environment, fostering collaboration across different time zones and cultures
