For our location in Cologne we are looking for a Management Accountant (M/F/d) with immediate effect.

As a Management Accountant (M/F/d) you will have business overview and support our client across ALL of their financial functions.

This is what awaits you on your new working day.

Together with their tax consultant, you are responsible for and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements as well as balance sheets, from which you can obtain and compile meaningful information.
You are the central contact person for everything to do with finance and keep track of sales and cost trends.
You create advance sales tax returns and prepare annual company tax returns.
You are the first point of contact for tax consultants, auditors and authorities and ensure that everything runs smoothly.
You support the team in the further development and optimization of processes and systems in accounting.

Your profile:

You have completed training as an accountant, tax clerk or comparable training. Ideally, you also have a qualification as an accountant or a comparable qualification.
You have already gained 25 years of relevant professional experience in a comparable position.
You have good knowledge of accounting according to HGB, ideally also in IFRS and tax law.
You are an organisational talent and work accurately, independently and carefully.
You have an analytical, strategic and conceptual way of thinking as well as excellent teamwork and communication skills. Reliable work is a matter of course for you and you like to show initiative.
You have very good written and spoken German and English skills. Therefore, writing texts in both languages will not cause you any problems.

Salary: 50,000.00€ - 80,000.00€ per year
