Job Summary:


In this role you will be responsible for activities in the field of Food Safety and Quality which are not necessarily linked to direct involvement in lab activities.

Food Contact Regulatory Compliance Expert you will be responsible for:

  • Assessment on the safety of base materials, packaging materials and additional materials based on analytical, chemical, compositional and production related expertise as well as regulatory requirements and certification of compliance with food contact regulations to customers as part of a team.
  • Assessment on the microbiological safety & quality of products processed and packaged in TP systems based on microbiological identification capabilities.
  • Knowledge about specific sensitivities of different food products (barriers demands) to support packaging material design / responsible to provide expertise about specific interaction phenomena between foods and TP multilayer materials with regard to the packaging material functionality.
  • Assessment of the legal compliance of chemicals used in TP packaging equipment and/or sold by TP to customers as part of a team.

What you will do:

As a Food Contact Regulatory Compliance Expert you will:

  • Execute a range of tasks in development projects related to design assessment & approvals in the scope of package food safety and food quality, Equipment food safety, Microbiological food safety or chemicals
  • Understand legal requirements in the context of food contact materials requirements and chemicals
  • Do assessment of new base materials for the existing product portfolio as part of a team
  • Evaluate microbiological risks associated with our packaging systems
  • Prove skills in compliance testing of Food Contact Materials
  • Evaluate food quality requirements with regard to shelflife and packaging attributes

  • University Master Degree in relevant field
  • Scientific thinking
  • Some years of experiences of doing food safety regulatory affairs
  • Good networking skills
