As Qwello's installed base and international footprint grow, we are looking to expand our Finance Team with a full-time Accountant to leverage our new ERP system, improve our accounting processes and bring excellence to accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Your Responsibilities \uD83D\uDE80:


  • Accounts payable: establish and maintain vendor records, verify and enter invoices, maintain ongoing communication with suppliers, prepare payments
  • Accounts receivable: while the invoicing process is mostly automated, verify accuracy and completeness of AR records, communicate with roaming partners to assure timely payment
  • Reconciliations of bank accounts, PayPal, credit cards
  • Processing of expense reports
  • Fixed Assets accounting
  • Support of external tax preparers
  • Participation in periodend close and adhoc accounting projects

Your Profile :


  • You are customeroriented, friendly and have a positive attitude
  • You are also wellorganized, reliable, accurate, have great attention to detail and know to be discrete with confidential information
  • You have completed an apprenticeship or studies (preferably in accounting, tax or business) and at least 3 years of professional experience in an accounting position and developed a good
  • Good understanding of German accounting principles (HGB) and VAT rules
  • You are a very good communicator, fluent in English (our working language) and German, and an experienced user of at least one ERP system and of MS Office (or equivalent)
  • You are an adaptable team player attracted to the fastpaced and multifaceted environment of a startup
  • You want to learn and grow with us, are willing to assume responsibility and to contribute to the ongoing improvement of our processes to help us build a successful business
