Development and testing of new machine concepts- Process development and material qualification
- Use of monitoring systems & artificial intelligence for process monitoring and control
What you will do
- Actively driving the future of laserbased additive manufacturing within the framework of industrial projects and publicly funded projects
- Processing and management of projects with a technical/scientific focus
- Collaboration in the acquisition of new research and development projects
- Presentation of your results at project meetings, industrial customers, and conferences in the national and international environment
- Supervision of student projects, scientific theses and student assistants
What you bring to the table
- Completed Master's degree (TH, TU, U) in mechanical engineering, materials engineering, materials science, physics, electrical engineering, computer science or a comparable discipline
- Ideally basic knowledge in the field of additive manufacturing
- A responsible and independent way of working
- High level of commitment, great initiative, clear and teamoriented communication, and a convincing appearance towards our customers
- Excellent German language skills as well as very good English language skills

The weekly working time is 39 hours.

The position is initially limited to 2 years.
