Development and testing of new machine concepts

  • Process development and material qualification
  • Use of monitoring systems & artificial intelligence for process monitoring and control

What you will do

  • Actively driving the future of laserbased additive manufacturing within the framework of industrial projects and publicly funded projects
  • Processing and management of projects with a technical/scientific focus
  • Collaboration in the acquisition of new research and development projects
  • Presentation of your results at project meetings, industrial customers, and conferences in the national and international environment
  • Supervision of student projects, scientific theses and student assistants

What you bring to the table

  • Completed Master's degree (TH, TU, U) in mechanical engineering, materials engineering, materials science, physics, electrical engineering, computer science or a comparable discipline
  • Ideally basic knowledge in the field of additive manufacturing
  • A responsible and independent way of working
  • High level of commitment, great initiative, clear and teamoriented communication, and a convincing appearance towards our customers
  • Excellent German language skills as well as very good English language skills

Appointment, remuneration and social security benefits based on the public-sector collective wage agreement (TVöD).

The weekly working time is 39 hours.

The position can also be filled on a part-time basis.

The position is initially limited to 2 years.
