TASKS:

Leading of the architecture development team for electronic control devices

Responsibility for defining and describing architectures for electronic hardware and software

Coordinate requirements with system development and product management

Architecture modeling for electronic control components

Coordinate design guidelines for electronic control components with the international Knorr-Bremse development teams and other internal and external experts

Execute initial estimates and calculations (e.g. for computing power and memory sizes, transmission rates, power supply, FMEA/FMEDA etc.)


REQUIREMENTS:

Studies in electrical engineering, computer science or a comparable field of study

Several years of professional experience in the fields of electronics development and/or embedded software development

First leadership experience

Well-founded knowledge of common development methods, especially in the area of safety-critical controls >= SIL2

Knowledge of hardware and software development and system modeling (e.g. SysML)

Proficient in German and English

Strong communication skills, strategic thinking, determination, resilience, structured way of working, authentic and open demeanor
