Key Responsibilities:
As a valued member of our interdisciplinary teams, you will have the opportunity to:
- Collaborate with GE design teams to adapt geometries for advanced manufacturing (AM) fabrication, driving innovation in the field
- Contribute to the development of critical subsystems, enabling the industrialization of system design
- Devise and execute plans to meet technical requirements, adhere to schedules, and fulfill contract commitments
- Participate actively in organizational efforts within assigned projects and tasks, making a tangible impact
Qualifications/Requirements:
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
- Proficiency in thermal design and flow calculation (CFD), with a solid understanding of heat transfer principles
- Background in mechanical design and stress analysis, allowing you to approach projects from a comprehensive perspective
- Strong academic track record, demonstrating your commitment to excellence
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective collaboration and information sharing
- A cando attitude that fuels your motivation to overcome challenges and deliver results
- Openness and creativity, inspiring innovative thinking and problemsolving
- A teamoriented approach, thriving in a complex multisite network structure
- Fluency in English, ensuring seamless communication within our global team
Desired Characteristics:
