YOUR ROLE
NexWafe is looking for a Head of Corporate Development to deliver significant impact and value creation for the company. The firm is finalizing its technological development and starting the journey of scaling up to commercialize its breakthrough product. In support of the CFO, the Head of Corporate Development will be responsible for a broad set of hands-on strategic initiatives and execute them, such as the next round of equity fundraising


ABOUT YOU

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience preferably in technologyfocused investment banking, PE / VC industry, management consultancies, Big 4 transaction services group, or operational experience in a fast growing startup
  • Firstclass university degree
  • Deep expertise in financial modelling and robust accounting background
  • Experience with deep tech and manufacturing industry is a great plus
  • Proven strategic thinker and have led complex projects with multiple stakeholders before
  • Very strong analytical skills and great attention to detail
  • Very strong communication skills and feel comfortable standing up for your opinion
  • Fluent in English, fluency in German is a plus

YOUR TASKS

  • Ownership of the financial and other financerelated models, working in collaboration with the financial advisor and other key members of the team to develop NexWafe's business plan
  • Support the development of key strategic pieces of NexWafe's business model for successful scaling up
  • Coordinate answers to potential investor's inquiries during fundraising process
  • Coordinate fundraising data room setup and due diligence
