TenneT is growing fast to realize its strategic ambitions. We play a leading role in driving the energy transition. We are looking for a passionate Assistant Treasurer (M/F/d) at our locations Bayreuth or Lehrte who will contribute to this and that might be you?

Your contribution to TenneT:

The German treasury department will be a new department within TenneT's treasury organization and this is a unique chance to build TenneT's local treasury department in Germany and to become active in the energy transition.

Your main focus will be on the
liquidity management of the different German custodian accounts (EEG/ASK/KWKG), managing several billions
You
manage the German
bank account structure and will be the
first point of contact for our international banking group for German bank account related questions
You contribute to forge the local treasury especially by working on
policies, intercompany financing and contributing to the
implementation of a local TMS:
You work alongside the head office treasury that has an experienced team that will support the local team to setup the decentralized treasury
The scope of the local treasury may further widen and offers an extended list of tasks

Your profile and background:

You have
multiple years of experience in relevant field, especially cash management and/or banking
Further
in depth treasury knowledge as well as experience in IT implementation especially of a TMS are beneficial
High interest in treasury, corporate finance and financial services are needed and strong
analytical,
reporting and project management skills:
Hands-on mentality; takes responsibility, is accountable and results driven; well-organized, self-starter, cooperative, team player describe your work ethic
Strong relationship management skills i.e. able to build and maintain networks on several levels, and excellent language skills in
German (C2) and advanced in
English (B2)

This will be our challenge:

Business Guidance provides advice for strategic, operational and financial planning and forecasting. We monitor, analyse and improve performance. Business Guidance safeguards TenneT's financial health by ensuring transparency, setting (financial) targets and reporting on the achievement of those targets.
