Duties:


Working in the Facility Management section of the Embassy, the Plumbing Maintenance Worker carries out scheduled and unscheduled plumbing preventive maintenance and repair work on mission buildings and facilities including residential owned and leased properties.

Job holder would repair, and install plumbing as needed to support a variety of systems including but not limited to plumbing building and mechanical systems, potable water treatment and storage, waste water treatment, fire sprinkler, swimming pool and landscape irrigation.

Qualifications and Evaluations:


  • Requirements:


A minimum of three (3) years of experience in the repair and maintenance of building plumbing and mechanical systems and utility treatment operations is required.

Mindestens drei (3) Jahre Berufserfahrung in der Reparatur und Wartung von Sanitäranlagen und mechanischen Systemen in Gebäuden, sowie in der Aufbereitung von Versorgungsleistungen, sind erforderlich.


  • Education Requirements:
Completion of Secondary School is required.

  • Evaluations:
Position requires limited working knowledge language skills in English (reading/writing/speaking).
Position requires good working knowledge language skills in German (reading/writing/speaking).

  • A current driver's license is required. (This position requires a valid German/EU driver's license class B)
