**We are now looking for a Field Marketing Director to join our team in Munchen, Germany.
The Director of Field Marketing CWE will leverage global and geo-based programs and resources to increase country-based marketing efficiency.

Will allocate marketing budget for developing local priority segments, measure ROI and report productivity trends to local/regional management as well as to the central marketing team in a standardized way.


Your main responsibilities as a Field Marketing Director will be**:

  • Develop, deploy, monitor, measure and reporting of country marketing plans, leveraging inbound (content marketing along customer journeys) and outbound marketing (events, PR, media), to increase awareness for the Vertiv story, preference and demand generation;
  • Lead the CWE marketing team as well as coordinate, supervise and support other marketing resources and agencies in his/her territory with their local strategies, plans and budget allocation to help achieving business objectives and reaching the targeted superior level of visibility and impact in the local marketplace;
  • Continuously measure and report KPI and ROI of all activities and programs carried out by mandatory and exact use of central marketing systems. Manage the development and maintenance of the leads and opportunities funnel;
  • Work with content team and other central marketing functions to increase effectiveness of campaigns and maximize response generation in the CWE region;
  • Be the bridge builder between central marketing processes and CWE business priorities, long term and shortterm objectives, strategic alignment and tactical reactiveness;
  • Proactively alert local/ regional management and central marketing teams of issues (low ROI due to wrong message, wrong audience, wrong distribution method etc) to help others to avoid same failure;
  • Proactively share best practices with other regions/ countries as well as central marketing teams (high ROI due to addressing high potential audience with right message thru efficient distribution channels etc) to help others to increase their own ROI;
  • Eliminate monetary waste from local marketing operations by continuously managing, tracking and reporting related expenses and their specific return via standardized Central Marketing systems and make sure funds are allocated on high ROI activities, following central marketing guidelines and optimizing local and regional P&L;
  • Increase productivity and efficiency of local and regional marketing plans by analyzing and streamlining existing crossfunctional processes and structures to remove barriers to success, eliminate waste and misallocation of resources;
  • Contribute to the development of the channel business in the CWE region, in coordination with sales and distribution partners. Leveraging all available digital marketing programs and tools acquire, recruit, activate, grow and retain the partners that will triple revenue contribution by 2025.

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • University degree in Marketing, BA or similar ( MBA preferred);
  • 5+ year practical experience of working in a marketing environment, ideally within a hightech/IT/electronics company and 3+ years in a marketing leadership role (experience in managing teams);
  • Native German and English Working proficiency, it is a MUST;
  • Knowledge of IT/Telco/Datacenter Market
  • Excellence in digital marketing (Inbound/Content) and k nowledge of basic channel business principles;
  • Experience in CRM and marketing automation;
  • Strong character selfmotivated to continuously improve performance well organized problem solving attitude teamwork oriented (locally, globally) excellent communication skills (internal and external) intrinsically willing to go the extra mile for the teams ́ success.
