Laboratory Solutions (LS) Senior Product Environmental Protection Specialist (f/m/d)
to
report to and support the Head of the Laboratory Solutions Product Environmental Protection function.

Your tasks and responsibilities:


  • You will manage or support key strategic projects for compliance and continuous improvement
  • You will overtake the monitoring, analysis and communication to the business for relevant legislation including but not limited to Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and restriction of chemicals (REACH), Biocidal Product Regulation(BPR), Classification, labelling and packaging (CLP), Packaging, Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), Batteries, Fluorinated Gas (Fgas), Toxic substances Control Act (TSCA), and maintaining a regulatory register
  • You will monitor governmental policy in global regions
  • You will represent Siemens Healthineers/LS in relevant Trade Association working groups and committees, and other regulatory association meetings
  • You will be responsible for the development of Lifecycle Analysis, Product Declarations and communication materials for customers
  • You will work with SHS Government Affairs to develop political advocacy on EHS topics and execute political advocacy programmes
  • You will support customer tender requests and establish tools for effective data management
  • You will manage processes for EU & UK REACH Registration, wastewater testing, and substance evaluations
  • You will maintain strong links with relevant Trade Associations, to ensure that Siemens Healthineers (SHS) and Laboratory Solutions (LS) is a wellestablished and strongly represented member company
  • You will coordinate LS productrelated EHS regulatory standard research and updates
  • You will be responsible for updating LS EHS Management Team and other business leadership teams as required to ensure the business stays ahead of any productrelated EHS standards and/or new legal requirements
  • You will participate in and support the SHS PREP community, managing PREP processes within LS for new product development and for design change projects
  • You will guide the integration of SHS PREP requirements into LS business processes and procedures
  • You will support tender requests/RFPs with PREP/product stewardship information on LS products
  • You will manage and monitor subscriptions and regulatory communication services for global regulatory updates

Your qualifications and experience:


  • You hold a completed degree in a health or safety related field
  • You have many years of professional experience in the EHS domain
  • You have experience working and collaborating with outside organizations
  • You have profound project management skills with a strong emphasis on regulatory projects, ideally in EU chemical regulation, e.g. REACH Authorisation or Restriction
  • You have strong computer skillset including working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint and Teams
  • You have demonstrated excellent performance in previous project and standards work and documented high potential for development and growth in this new position
