Job Summary:

Black & Veatch Deutschland Gmb has an opportunity for a Pre-Construction Project coordinator in Wiesbaden office.

Performs engineering related pre-construction functions requiring knowledge and experience in engineering principles.

Authority to interpret technical requirements and provide solutions in conjunction with discipline Project Department Engineer and Discipline Superintendent, to provide drawings and data, and to direct work as assigned and consistent with Company's contractual commitments.

Typically assigned to project where the Company has a construction management role.

Sie werden im Bereich der ingenieurtechnische Aufgaben in der Bauvorbereitung tätig sein, welche Kenntnisse und Erfahrungen in den technischen Grundlagen erfordern.

Sie sind in der Lage, technische Anforderungen zu interpretieren und Lösungen in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Ingenieur der Projektabteilung und dem Fachbereichsleiter zu erarbeiten, Zeichnungen und Daten zu erstellen/zu erarbeiten und die Arbeit entsprechend den vertraglichen Verpflichtungen des Unternehmens zu leiten.

In der Regel werden Sie in Projekten eingesetzt werden, bei denen das Unternehmen die Tätigkeit des construction management ́s übernimmt.

Key Responsibilities:

Establish area work priorities.
Interpret drawings and specifications.
Resolve problems to mitigate delays.
Monitor construction contractor progress.
Provide input to construction progress monitoring and reporting.
Enforce project work practices and project rules.
Provide input to project coordination meetings and schedules.
Provides technical direction/interpretation of design drawings and specification requirements, as well as general guidance to subcontractors on overall design.
Reviews, maintains records, and responds to Contractor Information Requests (CIRs) within discipline or as assigned for project.
Coordinates with Field
Monitors assigned subcontractor(s) for compliance with subcontract technical requirements.
Monitors discipline construction activities for compliance with schedule.
Prepares and issues all discipline extra work authorization requests (RFMPs/WAs) with the approval of the Project Field Manager.
Subcontract Administrator as needed.
Maintains a daily log for site record purposes.
Completes quantity take-offs as required to support construction planning and invoice approval.
Reviews all subcontractor progress payment requests for acceptance.
Compiles and maintains Conformed to Construction Records drawing and list markups by discipline and assigned subcontractors.
Directs site document control activities for design documents.
Adheres to safety and quality standards as appropriate for level of duties and accountabilities.
Supports continuous improvement efforts and the change management effects associated with the implementation of improvements.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten
Festlegung von Arbeitsprioritäten für den jeweiligen Bereich.
Interpretation und Auswertung von Zeichnungen und Spezifikationen.
Lösen von Problemen, um Verzögerungen zu minimieren bzw. zu vermeiden.
Überwachung/Monitoring der Baufirmen
Überwachung des Baufortschritts und die dazugehörige Berichterstattung.
Durchsetzung von Projektarbeitspraktiken und Projektregeln sowie normen uns Gesetzen.
Mitwirkung an Projektkoordinierungsterminen und Zeitplänen.
Bietet technische Anleitung/Auslegung von Konstruktionszeichnungen und Spezifikationsanforderungen sowie allgemeine Anleitung von Subunternehmern zur Gesamtkonstruktion.

Überprüfung, Pflege der Aufzeichnungen und Beantwortung von Informationsanfragen von Auftragnehmern (CIRs) innerhalb des Fachgebiets oder entsprechend der Zuweisung im Projekt.

Koordination mit dem Außendienst
Überwachung zugewiesener Subunternehmer auf Einhaltung der technischen Anforderungen des Vertrags.
Überwachung von fachspezifischen Bautätigkeiten auf Einhaltung des Zeitplans.
Vorbereitung und Ausstellung von fachspezifische Arbeitsgenehmigungen (RFMPs/WAs) mit Zustimmung des Project Field
