We are looking for a visionary and hands-on Lead Service Designer (M/F/d) to join a dedicated team of human-centered innovators and social entrepreneurs in building a next-level service offering in the food industry.

Their goal is to change the industry for the better and solve wicked problems by transforming value chains into transformative environmental and social catalysts.

They want to create an intelligent new service offering by leveraging the power of embedded data and the combination of hardware and software innovation.


We are seeking an experienced and visionary Lead Service Designer (M/F/d) who drives the transformation of the food industry forward in joint teamwork.


As Lead Service Designer (M/F/d), you will have the opportunity to reimagine and redesign interactions and shape service design strategies.

Your expertise will be instrumental in developing innovative solutions and creating a positive impact on their business and the whole industry.

You will have the opportunity to shape the team at an early stage.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute the service design vision, strategy, and roadmap
  • Design and define interactions to deliver exceptional service experiences that are tailored to the needs of the different target groups
  • Create interactive prototypes, playbooks and service blueprints and seamlessly align service design with their technology stack
  • Drive an extensive innovation phase focused on growth and breakthrough solutions
  • Developing solutions for low/no tech environments in highly diverse and divergent cultural environments
  • Collaborate with a crossfunctional team to align service design initiatives with business objectives
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather on site feedback to inform iterative design improvements
  • Leverage your hardware and software expertise to optimize the implementation of IoT solutions
  • Work in close collaboration with the founder and the product team

Requirements:


  • A minimum of 810 years of experience in service design, with a proven track record of delivering impactful results
  • Strong proficiency in interaction design, usercentered design principles, and design thinking methodologies
  • Experience in developing interactive prototypes, playbooks, and service blueprints
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate service design with technology infrastructure and systems
  • Indepth knowledge of cloudbased services, hardware/software combinations, and IoT implementation and prior experience in overcoming challenges related to hardware development and integration
  • Proven ability to navigate complex problems and deliver innovative solutions
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen
