We are constantly moving forward and looking out for a Power System Study Specialist to support our growth in the solar industry.


  • Be responsible for consulting or research projects along the clean energy value chain with technical and economic focus
  • Deliver consultancy for internal and external customers by development of simulation scenarios, building grid models, interpreting results and giving recommendations
  • Analysis and evaluation of new technologies and new products (V2G, microgrids, battery energy storage system or hydrogen production system)
  • Discussion of opportunities/needs with potential customers (utilities, suppliers, EPCs,..) and develop solutions to answer RFQs
  • Work in expert working group or standard organization on behalf of Sungrow Deutschland.
  • Contribute to expert conferences and symposiums on innovative energy transition topics
  • Conduct customer communication, care & project development

Profile:


  • Professional experience at technical consultancies or energy utilities with a minimum 35 years.
  • Master or Phd degree in electric power engineering, or equivalent education background
  • Experience in conducting load flow, insulation coordination, harmonic, shortcircuit, grounding and other related studies for power grid and renewable energy resources.
  • Experience in EPC projects is a plus
  • Experience in project management is preferred
  • Understanding of European energy markets, regulatory framework and standards is desired.
  • Intermediate organizational, presentation, communication, and technical writing skills required to communicate with customers and employees.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with multitasks.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English
