  • Graduation date is no earlier than in January 2024 or after the end of internship contract (whichever is later)

As a Business Development Intern, you will be supporting and holistically managing Selling Partners to accelerate growth.

Partner with Account Managers and other Amazonians during their daily activities, such as identifying target accounts using market data and industry intelligence, pitching growth programs to Selling Partners, supporting meetings and presentations in front of the management board, and creating compelling presentations to delight our customers.

During your internship, you will develop the analytical and problem-solving skills that our people are known for. Run dedicated workstreams independently and work on various projects relevant to our customers.

Key job responsibilities

  • Using our lead lists, contact new to Amazon and existing high potential customers, to introduce them the value of our programs and solutions.
  • Explore new market and growth segment opportunities among the existing merchant portfolio.
  • Prepare and conduct business reviews on progress, opportunities, and roadblocks to increase growth for existing customers.
  • Identify opportunities to improve our products, services, processes, systems, and tools.
  • Run specific projects adjusted for the internship duration and your qualifications. Drive a workstream in various business areas relevant for our customers such as Marketing, Communications, Events, Sales Initiatives, Supply Chain, or Business Intelligence (e.g. building reportings, dashboards, tools).
About the team
You could perform this role in one of these teams

Amazon Merchant Services - covers all third-party merchants' activity related to selling on Amazon as well as the specific services and products we offer to help develop and grow these sellers.

As a Business Development Intern, you will have responsibility for the growth of Amazon's third-party merchants across a variety of different product categories and from different countries.

Amazon Business is building the largest and most innovative Business-to-Business (B2B) marketplace in the world.

As an intern, you will be responsible for supporting the Amazon Business team to foster digitization of the B2B industry and optimize procurement for startups, large enterprises, and global players.


The Amazon Pay mission is to provide: "One Account to Shop Your World." Support one of the fastest growing businesses within Amazon as a Business Development Intern by exploring new market and growth segment opportunities. You'll learn when and how we can create custom opportunities, and partner with Account Managers to support with operational topics like merchant reporting issues or PKYC.
