To start shortly, we are currently seeking for our Hyundai Design Europe Department a(Senior) UX Designer (M/F/D)Working in a close collaboration with other creative teams at EU Hyundai Design Center (Exterior, Interior, CMF). NEW CONCEPTSDevelop the seamless user experience and interaction models with the vehicle (outside and inside of the car, visual, sound, haptics, etc.)Communicate in a visual and inspiring way to the rest of the teamCollaborate on realization of early new concepts with other R&D teams to verify it's feasibility and implementation in production models
CO-CREATION AND EVALUATION OF DESIGN TEAM PROPOSALSServe as an expert for our design team in evaluating design proposals from user point of view with the deep understanding of the customer needs, his pain and love-pointsCo-create design proposals with other designers to develop improvements, new and enhanced featuresDevelop and test prototypes, go through iteration loops to achieve the best resultsUSER & BENCHMARK RESEARCHPerform user research, analysis of user scenarios and user needs (in collaboration with internal departments or external agencies)Communicate the research results using UX design methodologies like personas, empathy maps, user journeys etc.
Analyze the User Experience of existing production cars (Hyundai and EU competitor benchmark brands) to identify biggest pain and love pointsExperienced UX designer, who is not afraid of taking new challenges in creating memorable and customer oriented experiences in the world of mobility.
Degree in related design field (e.g.interaction, User Experience, industrial)Minimum 4 years of related experience in the area of UX design, ideally in automotive industryOwn portfolio demonstrating deep level of experience in UX and interaction projectsStrong collaboration skills, ability to work not only with design peers, but other stakeholders like engineering, marketingExcellent communication, storytelling and presentation skills, being able to inspire othersHigh level digital skills in software enabling visual storytelling (Photoshop, Blender 3D modelling and animation, etc.)Ability to create UI interaction models in Design UX software (e.g.
Figma, Sketch)Willingness to travel frequently to our R&D Center in South Korea, develop network and collaborate directly with other teams (travel time up to 40%)A very good command of English, Korean language is a strong advantageWe look forward to your detailed application via our online recruiting tool.
