    Your Mission

    At reev, our goal is to bring eMobility to everyone. We're doing this through sustainable, innovative technology, ensuring driver satisfaction, providing reliable service, and expanding in Europe. With 5,000+ B2B clients, we achieved 337.4M electric driven kms and 40.5M kg saved CO2 in 2023. In 2024, we're set to grow further.     From August 2024 on, we are looking for you to be our software engineer (all genders) focused on the frontend. You will, together with our partner domain team, contribute to the great user experience of our software and write quality and maintainable code.

    Our partner domain team is dedicated to our business acquisition partners - including hardware vendors, electricians, and resellers - empowering them to monitor and manage their charging infrastructure effectively. This team also facilitates the seamless integration of new hardware and the onboarding of charge points. This means in detail:

    • You can put all your software development experience into an exciting practice. You write quality, reusable and maintainable code following the best practices and industry standards and are eager to take ownership of features and tasks (we work with React/Vite).
    • You support and foster our agile development process using end-to-end continuous integration and delivery so that everyone can see their code quickly in production.
    • You guide junior fellows, engage in code reviews, share your expertise with colleagues and participate in our cross-team technology community by sharing and giving feedback on how to improve our product.
    • Moreover, you provide feedback to the product and design teams on the feasibility of proposed changes and offer meaningful alternatives where they make sense. Thereby, you ensure our product's scalability, fault tolerance and efficiency.

    What you bring along

    • Your academic background: You have an academic degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
    • Your professional background: You have at least 3 years of experience in frontend development projects.
    • Your expertise: You are experienced and fluent in React and using hooks, and you understand how the browser works and know a bit about its quirks. You are well-acquainted with the JS/TS/CSS/React stack and the React ecosystem of commonly used libraries, ensuring efficient and robust frontend development.
    • Your approach: You think structured, independently, and long-term. You have excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
    • Your language skills: We primarily communicate in English internally and externally.
