Our teams ashore with dedicated Superintendents for the individual customers are responsible for the vessel's condition including maintenance and repairs, budgeting, vetting, compliance with regulatory requirements, dry docking, and - smooth operation.

SUPERINTENDENT

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the technical and commercial support of some of our container and bulk vessels
• Regular inspection tours
• Plan, supervise and coordinate repairs and shipyard visits
• Prepare and monitor the budget of vessel operating costs and ensure compliance with prescribed regulations

YOUR PROFILE

• Very good technical knowledge and interest in commercial contexts
• Extensive knowledge and experience in general ship operation of Container and/ or Bulk vessel
• Extensive knowledge and experience of project work/ repair projects and class renewals
• Strong analytical, problem solving, time management, decision making and leadership skills
• Communicative, openminded, good intercultural skills and appreciate working in a team
• Demonstrate teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong analytical, problem solving, time management, decision making and leadership skills
• Highly flexible, stress resistant and able to demonstrate conceptual thinking skills
• Solid knowledge of the legal aspects of shipping
• Very good knowledge of written and spoken English
• Willingness to travel
