Your tasks

The purpose of the position is being fully responsible for all Controlling and Purchasing related activities of the assigned location and legal entity Continental Safety Engineering International GmbH at the location Alzenau.

Main tasks include:

Steer achievement of plant business goals and budget targets, increase profitability and ensure Budget achievement
Prepare budgets for the plant and perform budget review meetings
Create regular forecasts, explain deviations vs. budget and previous forecast
Provide Month end Reporting with explanation of deviations on time. In case of deviations initiate immediately corrective actions.
Consolidating information and financial reports for Continental Safety Engineering International GmbH for HGB / IFRS/ Tax
Perform annual audits (KPMG, Tax office, etc.)
Coordinating legal, tax and accounting (IFRS&HAS) at automotive level
Set up Risk Management
Business Administration & Accounting
Coordinator for EEC (Export und Customs) & Tax Compliance

Profile:

University degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics field or comparable education
Several years relevant experience, management experience
Know how in Continental Controlling Systems and Tools (SAP, eSR, eCR, eTR, GPA)
Very good German and English language skills written and spoken
Successdriven personality
Ability to initiate and drive change
Organized and able to meet strict deadlines
Strong financial awareness and analytical skills
A strategic mindset and the ability to think creatively to solve complex problems
