What you'll do & Who you are

We are seeking a professional individual to join our Greener Mobility team as Working Student - Sustainability engagement & ESG reporting (d/f/m).

About the team:

You will be working directly with our Sustainability Manager and Greener Mobility Domain Lead, aiming at decarbonizing the mobility industry and shaping our company's corporate responsibility.

Supporting this overarching and highly strategic path, you will have the chance to work cross-functionally with teams of different backgrounds, and have the opportunity to engage a vast variety of stakeholders.

Your role:

You support the Adevinta sustainability team by driving 's ESG reporting (emissions reporting) & offsetting: data collection across the company, identification of the offsetting partner and implementation of the offsetting plan
You support the Sustainability Manager to shape internal communication, potentially leading into a complete new educational framework for the employees: e.g ambassador program, sustainability training, keynotes with special guests, organisation of special events
You support the Sustainability Manager in building a sounding board by identifying external partners and designing collaboration opportunities with third parties e.g Universities, NGOs
You identify levers to sustain the company's corporate responsibility and collaborate with various stakeholders to initiate the implementation of sustainability "rules" across the business

What we are looking for:

Pursuing a degree in communication science or sustainability management (or comparable degree programs)
Previous experience in sustainability management is a plus
Good knowledge of Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, Sheets)
Analytical thinking and ownership, confidence to drive own ideas and projects forward
Intrinsic motivation to broaden a positive impact and implement new initiatives
Clear communication, asking for help and sharing own views
Fluent in English and German
As a working student, you must be enrolled at a German technical college/university
At least 20 hours of work per week
