What you'll do
Accountable for the labor and employee relations strategy in the country
Provide strategic advice and day to day support on all matters related to labor and employee relations, Unions and Works Councils
Lead the information, consultation and negotiation with the Unions and Works Council in partnership with the Country HR Manager
Responsible for preparing materials for all required consultations / negotiations
Drafting Factory Agreements
Support M&A activity & organisational change
Provide clear interpretation of HR Policy, Labor Law and Collective Bargaining laws
Maintain a trusting cooperation with the Works Council
Consult and manage outside legal counsel per governance framework
Involved, as required, in other national and transnational information and consultation bodies
Lead relationships with external experts

Who you are
Proven labor and employee relations experience over a significant period - preferably gained in the industry / a company
Sound experience in working & building relationships with works councils / unions
Fluency in German and English in written and spoken
Experience with project management, change management as well as stakeholder management
Experience with global restructuring
Experience M&A
Experience Works Council set up
Experience in drafting collective / factory agreements
Ability to translate legal concepts into practical business solutions and influence key decision-makers
Experience in an international environment/ matrix organization
Preferred qualification in law from an accredited university or college
