    Functional area: Corporate Development / Strategy

    Your activities

  • Managing and executing cross-functional projects and initiatives with particular relevance to our fast-growing renewable energy business and within different focus areas (e.g. organisational and operational efficiency projects or external market research)
  • Executing projects across the value chain in collaboration with our business units, OPEA directors and board members to address our industry's most pressing challenges
  • Ensure the quality of communication documents for the Renewable Energy Board and senior executives to deliver clear, concise and insightful messages
  • Responsible for the planning and delivery of offsite events for senior executives, including responsibility for the agenda, presentations and overseeing the project plan
  • Lead the administrative preparation of workshops and management of all stakeholders, participants, facilitators and other teams delivering workshops and events
  • Establish and functionally manage a small team of interns and/or student workers to assist with all of the above tasks. This role offers the opportunity for personal development and early leadership responsibility.

    • Your profile

  • Successfully completed university studies in economics, engineering or natural sciences, preferably with a postgraduate degree/MBA
  • Profound professional experience in comparable functions (management of complex, cross-functional projects), ideally expertise in the field of renewable energies either through work in the operational business or through extensive consulting activities
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills with the ability to consider a large number of different variables simultaneously and draw meaningful conclusions from their synthesis
  • Ability to summarise complex issues and derive decision options
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to liaise with senior stakeholders
  • Creative and open-minded personality with the ability to link theoretical scenarios with actual feasibility for the organisation
  • High personal credibility, strong interpersonal skills and balanced personality, strong team-orientation
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
